Well well well.... The day arrived where my younger brother came to me to create an engagement Ring (or PROPOSAL RING)!
I waited for this day for a while as I just KNEW these two were going to be together forever. Jack knew when, where and everything in between for the proposal to Libs and the planning was impeccable... especially from someone who to be honest, 5 minutes ago I would barely trust to leave the house with the same style shoe on each foot.
Jack and I decided, as Libs is very creative and from an interiors background and his Sister (me) is a jewellery designer/maker (conveniently for him), that we would design a ring that he would use to propose with (welcome... the proposal ring) and then source a diamond that Libs would use to help design her dream engagement ring with Jack.
The #proposalring (as pictured) was designed to be a placeholder of sorts. Something Lib could wear now but also forever on her other hand. We didn't want it to be too 'engagement like' as it is to be worn forever but it needed to be special too. We opted for a 5.5mm textured band with a 'halo rub over setting'with a beautiful old cut antique diamond 0.35cts and the date of their engagement engraved inside.
